PM greets Tigers for ODI series victory against Pakistan

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday extended her heartfelt greetings to the Bangladesh cricket team for winning their maiden ODI series victory against Pakistan.

The tigers clinched a convincing seven-wicket win over Pakistan in the 2nd of the three-match ODI series at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium today.

Earlier on Friday, Bangladesh clinched an emphatic 79-run win in the first ODI against visiting Pakistan also at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.

In a felicitation message, cricket lover Hasina congratulated the team players, coach, manager, and all concerned including the BCB officials for this outstanding feat.

Hasina said Bangladesh cricket has now bagged a dignified position in the global arena due to the government’s utmost sincerity for development of cricket and sincere efforts of the players.

She also hoped that the Bangladesh cricket team would maintain its winning spree in the future.
