The Awami League-blessed mayoral candidate for Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Sayeed Khokon on Thursday moved deep into grassroots people as part of his election campaign where he tried to grasp the attention of the voters with his usual 'sweet manner'.
As part of his 17th consecutive day of campaign Sayeed Khokon started his campaign from Chankharpool and his wife started campaign for the third day from Bahadur Shah Park. After starting campaign in the morning both of them were seeking votes moving door to door in favour of polls symbol 'Hilsha'. Sayeed Khokon said, "I am a local of Dhaka city and I have family reputations. I will devote myself like my father to fulfil your dream."
"Give me one chance to serve you, to elect me cast your vote for 'Hilsha' symbol," he added.
During campaign Farhana Sayeed said, "My Husband is an honest man, please cast your vote for once to elect him as a mayor of Dhaka." About attacks on BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's rallies, Sayeed Khokon said, "Any kind of clash during polls campaign is not acceptable."
