
The pass rate is 87.04%. Some 111,901 examinees have got GPA-5.
According to the Education Ministry, a total of 12, 82,618 students passed the exams out of 14, 73,594.
In Chittagong Board, 82.77% students passed the examinations while a total of 7,116 students achieved GPA-5 in the board.
In Comilla Board, a total of 84.22% students passed the tests. Some 10,195 students got GPA-5.
The pass rate in Madrasa Board is 90.20% while 11,338 students secured GPA-5.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid alongwith the respective board chairmen handed over the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina around 10am.
The minister will formally announce the results at a press conference in his ministry at 1:00pm.
The examinees will get their results from the respective centres, on websites of their respective boards and on mobile phones via SMS from 2:00pm.
Results will be available in--www.educationboardresults.gov.bd website.
This year's SSC and its equivalent examinations were to begin on Feb 2. But, not a single examination could be held on scheduled date because of BNP-led 20-party's countrywide blockade and hartal. The authorities had to reschedule all exams in the weekends.
