Pabna : Two pedestrians were ran over by a pick up van in Sadar upazila on Pabna-Dhaka highway Wednesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Abdur Rahman, 52, and Mohiul Alam Sadhu , 50. They both hailed from Madhupur Dakkhin Para in Sadar upazila.

Witnesses said a pick up van run over the duo while they were walking through the road at Madhupur Bazar around 6am, leaving them dead on the spot.

The van driver also received injuries as the vehicle hit hard a roadside tree after knocking hitting the pedestrians.

Madhupur Highway Police camp in-charge Hafizur Rahman confirmed the
incident saying they seized the killer truck.
