
The first day of the competition was covered the preliminary round. Second day was finished with the Quarter Finals and Semi Finals, and the third day was about the grand finale and the valedictory ceremony. Enthusiastic and lively participation of the Mooters made the event more enjoyable. Learned advocates of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh and academicians from various law schools were presided over the competition as respected judges.
After intense Mooting of three days, the team of Habib, Shafayet and Shourav from Batch 39 emerged as the Champion, while the team of fresh mooters from Batch 41 Psyme, Salvia and Riasat stood as the runners up. Abdul Hannan Afnan from Batch 39 was awarded the best researcher award, and the best Mooter awards were bagged by Bayijid Rayhan, Ragib Mahtab and Saraf Fahrin Chowdhury. President of the Dhaka University Moot Court Society (DUMCS) and honorable Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Dhaka Professor Dr. Taslima Monsur was present as the chief guest in the valedictory ceremony, and distributed prizes among the winners. The program was conducted by Dr. Nazmuzzaman Bhuiyan, the moderator of the Dhaka University Moot Court Society (DUMCS).
