Eid celebrated in different districts

Eid-ul-Fitr, the largest religious festival of Muslims, celebrated at different places in different districts on Friday in conformity with Saudi Arabia.
 
Eid jamaats were held at different villages in Bhola, Moulvibazar, Pirojpur, Chandpur, Patuakhali, Satkhira, Chittagong, Comilla, Pirojpur, Munshiganj, Barisal and Lalmonirhat districts.

In Bhola, about 10,000 residents of 20 villages in five upazilas observed Eid-ul-Fitr in line with Saudi Arabian schedule.

The main eid congregation was held at Mulaipattam village of Togbi union in Borhanuddin upazila at about 8:30am.

Besides, followers of Sureshwar Darbar, Maijbhandaria and Satkania pirs organised separate eid jamaat.
 
In Moulvibazar, members of over 100 families held eid prayer at Circuit House area at about 7:15am. Alhaj Abdul Mawfiq Chowdhury conducted the jamaat,

In Chandpur, residents of 50 villages in Haziganj, Faridganj, Matlab North, Shahrasti and Kochua upazilas, celebrated the festival in line with the schedule of Saudi Arabia.

Pir Allama Ishaq started observing religious programmes and festivals in the district in conformity with Saudi Arabia since 1928.

In Chittagong, Eid-ul-Fitr celebrated in 30 villages in Southern part of the district.

Residents of the villages start fasting and celebrate Eid in conformity with Saudi Arabia.
