Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday said the Pay Commission report is now on her table and she is examining it.
"The Pay Commission submitted their report to the Finance Ministry and the Finance Minister has sent it to me," she said while addressing a function marking the 29th founding anniversary of SSF at the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).
The Prime Minister said the report it will go to the Cabinet for final approval after the examination. "After that we’ll implement it," she said.
Sheikh Hasina mentioned that the government after assuming office in 2009 had also increased the salaries and wages of all public servants. "This time, there’ll be another enhancement," she added.
