Case filed over death threats to PM's son Joy

A case was filed with Paltan Police Station on Monday night over issuing death threats to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's eldest son and her ICT adviser Sajeeb Wazed.

Inspector Fazlur Rahman of the Detective Branch (South) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), filed the case.

Contracted, officer in-charge of Paltan Police Station Morshed Alam said Joy received death threats through different media at different times.

Mohammad Ullah Al Mamun, vice-president of BNP’s cultural wing JASAS was named as an accused in the First Information Report (FIR) of the case, added the OC.
