Finance Minister AMA Muhith will inaugurate the six-nation SAFF Under-16 Championship as the chief guest on Sunday at the Sylhet District Stadium in Sylhet.
Mahi Uddin Ahmed Salim, president of Sylhet District Football Association (SDFA) said that at a press conference at the Sylhet District Stadium on Friday.
The stadium which has a capacity to host around twenty thousand audiences is expected to be houseful during the matches.
Along with the host Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Indian and the Maldives will take part in the event.
