Local fans are getting worried ahead of the FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Kyrgyzstan as a series of injuries and sickness was noticed among many players in the ongoing national football camp at the BKSP in Savar. Winger Zahid Hasan got injury in ankle during the practice session at the BKSP and left the camp on Friday. Alike the winger, midfielder Sohel Rana also returned from the camp earlier on Thursday after getting a hamstring injury and he confirmed that it will take him about three weeks to recover. In the meantime, defender Yeasin Khan got problem of swelling tonsils and he came to Dhaka to get medical care. He will need three weeks too. Left back Atiqur Rahman Mishu was suffering from fever while custodian Shahidul Alam Sohel was not well too. To make it worse, Bangladesh National Football Team's trustworthy striker Jahid Hasan Ameli had to leave the camp due to abdominal lump earlier. In the meantime he had the operation on Saturday and was prescribed for a week-rest. Yet it would not be possible for the prominent striker to take part in the qualifier against Kyrgyzstan on October 13. On the other hand, midfielder Hemanta Vincent Biswas joined the camp on Friday after being warned by the disciplinary committee of the Bangladesh Football Federation. He was accused of playing for a local team being hired in Dinajpur despite joining the residential camp in time.
