SYLHET, Oct 7: The prime accused of President of Ward Community Police Muhibur Rahman murder case was held on Wednesday.
The arrestee was identified as Sohel alias Pakhi Sohel, 25, son of Ala Uddin of Nabiganj upazila under Habiganj district.
Police source said, on tip-off, Kotwali Thana police conducted a drive at Surma point in city at around 11:30am and held the prime accused.
Muhibur Rahman, 50, son of Abdul Latif of Baghbari area in city, became bullet-hit injured in a clash that took place between two local groups at the area over land dispute on June 7, 2015. Later, he died at midnight on the way when he was taking to Dhaka.
