Four bodies recovered in three districts

At least four bodies were recovered in three districts on Thursday.
MOULVIBAZAR: Police recovered bodies of two men from two upazilas of the district here on Thursday.
They were identified as Jamal Uddin, 45, son of late Shafiq Uddin of Uttar Dimai village under Borolekha upazila and a security guard of Chhotolekha tea-garden, and Sayed Miah, 20, son of Kona Miah of Sreesurjo village under Kamalganj upazila.
Police and locals said on Wednesday night Jamal went out of house to go to his workplace, but remained missing since then. Being informed by locals, police recovered his body from Satma Bridge area of the upazila on Thursday night.
Bikash Chandra Das, sub-inspector (SI) of Borolekha Police Station confirmed the incident.
On the other hand, family members found Sayed's body hanging with a rope inside his room on Thursday evening. He was immediately rushed to Moulvibazar 250-Bed Hospital but attending doctor declared him dead.
On information, police recovered and sent the body to the hospital morgue for an autopsy.  After getting the autopsy report the cause behind the death would be clear, said police.
Md Aminul Islam, second officer and SI of Moulvibazar Model Police Station, confirmed the incident.
CHUADANGA: Police recovered a teenager's body from the Naboganga River under Boaliya village in Sadar upazila here on Thursday noon.
He was identified as Sholok, 16, son of Shamsul Islam of Kabilnagar village under Alamdanga upazila in the district.
Police, victim's family members and local sources said Sholok went out of house on Saturday at 5pm and since then remained missing. On Thursday at 2pm, locals found his body floating on the river and informed police.
Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Chuadanga General Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chuadanga Police Station Saiful Islam confirmed the incident and said the cause of the death couldn't be known immediately. Police are investigating the incident, the OC added.
LAXMIPUR: Police recovered body of an old woman from Uttar Char Lawrence village under Kamalnagar upazila here early Friday after she was missing from her house at the same village on Thursday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Rizia Begum, 62, wife of late Esak Mia of the village. Police and locals said Rizia was missing from her house at 4pm on Thursday. Family members searched for her in all possible places but could not trace her out. Later, on Thursday at 3am, her body was found from one Torab Ali's farm near her house.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Confirming the matter, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kamalnagar Police Station Kabir Ahmad, said they are investigating the matter.
