Bangladesh will host the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2016 which is scheduled to be held from January 22 to February 14. A media release of ICC confirmed it on Tuesday.

The doubt got a new dimension when an Indian news paper reported that India or Sri Lanka may host the tournament instead of Bangladesh.
But all the doubt went away after the board meeting of ICC as they confirmed Bangladesh to host the event.
Though ICC confirmed the matter, it suggested Bangladesh to prepare an appropriate security plan to convince others teams' security advisor.
Regarding that the media release mentioned, "As part of this decision, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), working in conjunction with its government to develop an appropriate security plan that addresses all security risks to the satisfaction of the ICC's security advisor, working closely with the security advisors for the other Members."
