Jatiyatabadi Swechch hasebak Dal on Sunday arranged a doa mahfil seeking early recovery of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia, now in London. The programme was held at BNP's Nayapaltan central office after Asr prayers. BNP standing committee member Nazrul Islam Khan, Sramik Dal president Anwar Hossain, Ulema Dal president Hafej Abdul Malek, general secretary Shah Nesar Ullah and Swechchhasebak Dal senior vice-president Munir Hossain, among others, joined the programme. Speaking at the programme, Nazrul Islam Khan alleged that the government has resorted to a blame game over the recent murders of two foreign citizens. He urged the government to immediately arrest the killers of the two foreigners and mete out exemplary punishment to them shunning the blame game. Nazrul said their party will continue its movement in a democratic way to establish people's rights and restore democracy. A special munajat was offered seeking quick recovery of the BNP chief. ?UNB
