The both matches of Sk Kamal International Club Cup football tournament will be played at the MA Aziz Stadium in Chittagong. P-League champions Karachi Electric FC lose to Dhaka Abahani by 3-2 margin earlier on Tuesday in the opener. The traditional Sky-blues are said to be the forerunner of modern football in Bangladesh. Except for the last five years, they clinched a lot of titles in different events. Winning the Bordoloi Trophy in 2010 is the last ever international achievement in their book. As a result the Dhaka Abahani boys were desperate for so long to put in another trophy in their showcase and already on their way to do so after the win against the Karachi Electric FC. Now they will face Chittagong Abahani today who are standing on their way forward. Yet the Chittagong Sky-blues could not win the first match against East Bengal, it would not be a wise idea to neglect the strength of the port-city team. Chittagong Abahani are packed with 12 players from two other BPL team, Sk Russel and Muktijoddha. Particularly eight players among them also play in the national team. Dhaka Abahani coach Amalesh Sen was not taking any opponents that easy. He said that whoever their opponents were, they should try to play in their usual approach. On the other hand, Chittagong Abahani said about their defeat in the last match as a result of less time for preparation.
