Senior Secretary to the Home Ministry Mozammel Haque Khan on Tuesday said that Bangladesh would bring back its nationals, including BNP leader Salahuddin Ahmed, from India through proper processing.

"Both countries have reached an agreement in this regard," Mozammel disclosed this at a press briefing after a home secretary-level meeting between Bangladesh and India this morning.

The meeting also discussed about handing over of the hardened criminals, who are now believed to be hiding in India, he said.

"Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Indian Border Security Force (BSF) will work together to bring down the border killings to zero level," he added.

Mozammel Haque Khan led the Bangladesh team while Indian side was headed by its Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi in the two-day meeting that began at a city hotel on Monday.
