Bangladesh has earned over $560 million exporting products from fisheries sector in the 2014-15 financial year, Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed said late on Sunday. The minister said in response to a query from a parliament member. Tofail said 80 per cent of the fisheries export comes from prawn while 20 per cent comes from other fishes. Replying to another query, the minister said in the 2014-15 fiscal year, Bangladesh earns $103.24 million from vegetables export. To another query, the government set export target of agricultural products $676.14 million the same fiscal year. The achievement was $586.08 million. Bangladeshi products are distained for 196 countries now.
