The charges under Anti-Terrorism Act against four suspected members of militant outfit Islamic State (IS), including its coordinator Shakawatul Kabir were framed by a Dhaka Court on Tuesday.
After framing the charges, the Fourth Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Ruhul Amin, fixed February 25 for the trail.
Earlier in the morning, the four people including Shakawatul Kabir were produced before the court.
In the charge-sheet, Shakawat was mentioned as the Bangladeshi coordinator of IS.
Three other accused are Anowar Hossain, Rabiul Islam and Nazrul Islam.
Earlier on May 15, the Investigation Officer (IO) of the case and Inspector of Detective Branch of Police AKM Kamrul Ahsan submitted the charge-sheet before the court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate in Dhaka.
On January 18, Sub-Inspector of DB Mohammad Nazrul Islam filed a case against them with Jatrabari Police Station under Anti-Terrorism Act.
