Police recovered the bodies of two cousins from a house at Dakshin Khailkoir in Gazipur city on Friday evening.

The deceased are identified as Zahidul Islam, 15, son of Abdul Jalil, and his cousin Md Babu, 16.

They both were class X students of a local school. Babu, son of Rokon Ahmed of Comilla district, was residing with his maternal uncle Abdul Jalil for study.

Joydevpur Police Station SI Enamul Haque said finding a room of the house got locked for a long time, family members broke the door open at about 6pm and found the boys hanging from the ceiling fan with a same rope.

On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to Gazipur General Hospital morgue.

Quoting family members, police said Zahidul and Babu were drug addicts and they might have commit suicide.
