Fakirerpool Young Men's Club gripped Uttar Baridhara Club in a 1-1 margin in the first match of the third round of the Minister Freeze Bangladesh Championship League 2014-15 on Friday at the Bangabandhu National Stadium. Shitol took the lead for Baridhara boys scoring in the 31st minute while Alamgir restored the parity for Fakirerpool in the 40th minute of the match. The two clubs had not seen any win in BCL yet. Playing three matches, both drew two and lost one match and Uttar Baridhara team is on the sixth place while Fakirerpool is on the seventh place. T&T Club of Motijheel are leading the point table with six points playing two matches while Arambagh KC are on the second place with four points from the same number of matches. Agrani Bank will face Wari Club in the third round of BCL today (Saturday) at 3:00pm at the same venue. In the meantime on November 28, FIFA had officially confirmed the newly installed artificial turf ready for play at the Bir Shrestha Sepoy Mustafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur. So, the BCL is expected to be played in there from the fourth round matches.
