550 phensedyl bottles seized in Chuadanga

CHUADANGA, Dec 9: In separate drives, members of Border Gourd Bangladesh (BGB)-6  recovered  550  bottles of Indian  contraband phensedyl syrup  from Atatola and Hudapara village  areas   under   Damurhuda   upazila of the district recently.  
Director of BGB-6 Lieutenant Colonel S.M. Moniruzzaman  said, acting on a secret information, a team of  BGB personnel  led by Nimtola   Camp Commander  Nayek  Akram Ali  conducted a  drive in  Atatola   area at 5:30 am  and    seized 275    bottles of Indian phensedyl syrup   in several sacks.   But the drug peddlers managed to escape from the spot, sensing the presence  of the BGB men.   Nobody was arrested in this connection.
 In another drive, BGB men from Huadapara camp led by camp commander Nayek Shahidul Islam launched a drive in Huadapara field area at 6 am and recovered 275 bottles of phensedyl in a abandoned condition. None was arrested in this connection.
