Six houses gutted in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, Jan 17: At least six dwelling houses were gutted in a fire incident in Patenga Khalpar area under Patenga Thana in the city Sunday morning.
Fire service sources said the fire originated from a cooking oven at around 6:25am quickly engulfed the surrounding houses.  Seven units of fire service from Agrabad, Bandar, CEPZ stations rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control at about 7:45am. 
Destroyed properties of six dwelling houses are worth about Tk three lakh.
