The winners dominated the field all through the first half and still failed to hit the net in the first half. After the barren first half, their striker Ananya Biswas succeeded to fire the net in the 13th minute of the second half.
Defending champions Narail could not make any scope to score till the long whistle and had to leave the field without title this year.
Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Admin) Air Vice Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat was the chief guest in the final and distributed prizes.
The champions were awarded Taka sixty thousand and trophy while the runners-up were given Taka forty thousand as prize money.
Sadia Khatun of Narail was adjudged the highest scorer of the tournament for her 11 goals in the entire event.
Earlier on Saturday, Jhenaidah overpowered Rajshahi rivals by 2-0 margin.
The seven-day women hockey event began on February 29 where a total of nine district teams including Narail, Defending runners-up Dinajpur, Rangpur, Kishoreganj, Patuakhali, Jhenaidah, Dhaka, Rajshahi and Thakurgaon districts participated in the group round.
The group round finished on Wednesday and the final round began on Friday.
