Driver's body recovered

PANCHAGARH, Mar 7: Police recovered body of a tractor driver from a bamboo cluster at Golandigoch village in Tentulia upazila of the district on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Abbus Ali, 23, son of Tobibar Rahman of Bhajanpur Shantinagar village under the same upazila.
Sources said Abbas Ali went out from his house on Sunday morning and did not return home.
Local people found a throat-slit body lying at the place and informed police.
Later police recovered the body and sent it to Panchagarh Sadar Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Officer-in-Charge of Tentulia Police Station Soresh Chandra said criminals slit the throat and injured different parts of the body by sharp weapon.
