A new Indo-Bangla joint production starts

Yet another new joint production of Bangladesh and India was announced in a ceremony held on March 7 at Hotel Westin, Gulshan in the city. Abdul Aziz's Jazz Multimedia and Kolkata based film personality Ashok Poti's SK Movies is about to produce the movie titled "Shikari". The shooting will start on March 14 before moving on to Bangladesh and UK. Jakir Hossain Shimanto from Bangladesh and Joydev from West Bengal will jointly direct Shikari. The movie casts Shakib Khan and Tollywood's famed actress Srabonti opposite each other. This will be Srabonti's first assignment under a Bangladeshi project. Interesting is that feted Bollywood actor Rahul Bose will also star in the movie. He will be seen in the negative role of the movie. Rahul first acted in Rubaiyat Hossain's "Under Construction."
At the ceremony Mostofa Sarowar Hossain Faruki, Jakir Hossain Raju, celebrated singer Kona, Shafik Tuhin, Kishore, Imran, Lemise, actors Amit Hasan, Shiva Shanu and more present on behalf of Bangladeshi cast and crew members of the time. Ashok Dhanuka of SK Movies and Tollwood actor Om were also present.
