Bangladesh National Football Team suffered a blushing 8-0 defeat to Jordan boys in their last match of the FIFA World Cup-2018 Qualifier in the Group-B of Asian Zone on Thursday at the Amman National Stadium in Jordan.
Yet, Jordan boys are stronger opponents who are ranked 82nd on FIFA World Ranking, It was not expected from 177th ranked Bangladesh to concede that much goals in a match.
In their earlier match, Bangladesh were defeated to the same rivals by 4-0 margin at home on September 8 last year. They were wishing to do better against the rivals and said that they would try to play a draw match at least.
The Bengal boys concede goal at the seventh minute of the match. Al-Dardour of the opponents made a hat-trick scoring three goals while Abdallah Deeb, Al-Rawashdeh, Faisal Bahaa, Al-Naber and Samir scored one goal each for the big margin win.
For illegal action, Bangladesh's Rezaul Karim, Atiqur Rahman Mishu and Shakil Ahmed were shown yellow card.
