Chumki for giving priority to children to build Sonar Bangla

State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Meher Afroze Chumki on Sunday underscored the need for giving priority to children above all to build a modern and prosperous Sonar Bangla.
"When the children of the country will be given appropriate priority, the dream of building a developed sonar Bangla will be materialised," she said while addressing as the chief guest at a prize giving ceremony on "Dadabhai Award-2016" marking the 91st birth anniversary of noted children's litterateur Rokonuzzaman Khan Dadabhai.
Chumki said the government is very cordial to protect the children's rights.
She called upon the rich society to spend money for developing street children alongside the government.
She said the literary work of Dadabahi encouraged the children to study and expressed the need for a person like Dadabhai now.
