MYMENSINGH, May 18: Speakers at a mass gathering here on "Mother and Child Health Development" on Monday said more facilities should be rendered at grassroots level to ensure better health for both mothers and their children.
They made several suggestions at the programme; these include - ensuring safe food for mother and child, gearing up activities of community clinics with more supports, ensuring free medical services, and relaxing fees of specialised doctors.
World Vision and White Ribbon Alliance jointly organised the programme at its area development project office in the town.
