The Export Import Bank of Bangladesh Limited (EXIM Bank) distributed bicycles among secondary level 10 meritorious female students of three erstwhile enclaves at a ceremony here on Saturday afternoon.
EXIM Bank Foundation is the sponsor of the programme under which the bicycles were distributed among the students of Jamaldaho Balapukur, Baro Khenjir Mujib Indranagar and Bhotbari enclaves under Patgram upazila of Lalmonirhat district.
Deputy General Manager (DGM) of Rangpur Branch of Bangladesh Bank (BB) Jayonta Kumar Banik, as chief guest, attended the function held on the premises of the BB.
Senior Executive Vice-president of EXIM Bank and its Rajshahi Regional Manager Sheikh Bashirul Islam, valiant freedom fighter Mohammad Jahangir, Associate Professor of Begum Rokeya University Dr Tuhin Wadud, attended as special guests.
Vice-president of the head office of EXIM Bank and its Deputy Project Director Osman Ali Mian presided over the distribution ceremony participated by its officials, leaders of Rangpur Chamber, freedom fighters, civil society members and elite of the city.
