IU Pro-VC calls on Japan Okayama University VC

Professor Dr M Shahinoor Rahman, pro-vice chancellor of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia, has recently called on Prof Yasunobu Yanagisawa, vice chancellor of Okayama University of Science (OUS) in Japan, at the Okayama University VC’s office.

Among others, Okayama University Pro-VC Prof Shujiro Dohta, its senior Prof Hiroki Hamada were also present, said an IU press release on Sunday noon.
 
They discussed about the possibilities of undertaking joint collaboration, technical cooperation of research and exchange programme between the two universities.

A team of Okayama University will visit IU last week of April and the MoU will be signed during this visit, Prof Shahinoor Rahman said.

Earlier, Prof Shahinoor Rahman met with Dr. Yuta Nishina and Dr. Yashushi Iwabuchi at Okayama University.

IU Pro-VC went to Japan on March 27 for a 10 day visit with a view to discuss with Okayama University authorities about signing the MoU.
