 Death-row convict hanged at Rajshahi prison A murder case death-row convict was hanged at Rajshahi jail on Wednesday night. The execution of convict Rokibor Rahman alias Okibar was executed around 10:01pm. Rokibor was convicted in 1999 in a murder case. As his mercy petition has been rejected by the President, the jail authorities executed the execution on Wednesday night. The prison senior jail super Abdul Jalil confirmed the matter. The body was handed over to the family after autopsy. TF |
