Preferred character or script
I try to avoid playing a similar character twice, yet play different roles every time. Moreover, I don't let myself get stuck in a typical romantic heroine category. I always keep an eye to work in different genres, be that a rural context or one based on a city. This is what I look for in scripts.
Exciting feature of acting that attracted you
At first, I used to do modeling and acting both. Then, a realization struck that the art of acting is what I liked the most. I loved to play different characters in different stories every day. Furthermore, I started loving working in front of the camera. Besides, I love the people of this field. They are very natural and creative. All of these influenced me to get into this creative art.
On your radio show
I am doing a show on DhakaFm 90.4. It is all about my life and works. My listeners share their problems. I try to solve them in a short time. Moreover, I am a master of surprise. So, my listeners seek my advice for surprising their loved ones. I also do live calls to wish the loved ones of my listeners on their special days such as birthdays or anniversaries.
Greatest strength
I am very patient. I can be calm and quiet for a long time. I am always in control of myself. Even though, as a human being, we all react sometimes. However, it takes a lot to make me lose my control. Then again, I am normally very nice. People always say that I am very patient and have good manners. People around now-a-days, have become very impatient. They take decisions impulsively and then tend to regret them. This happens due to lack of patience. On the other hand, as I am patient enough to carefully act, I don't have any regrets.
Your weakness
There are both pros and cons of a certain trait of mine. The pros are that it doesn't take much time for me to become very friendly with people. However, there is a downfall to it too. As I become friendly very fast, naturally, I tend to trust them very quickly as well. Now that doesn't always bring a fruitful result or positive ending.
Upcoming plans
My movie, Bengali Beauty is about to get released very soon. I am much tensed about it. It has already been released in America. It is yet to be released in Bangladesh. It is going through the procedure of censor board. This is the kind of movie I want to do. So, whether or not I will do more movies depends on how people of Bangladesh perceive Bengali Beauty. On the other hand, in personal life, my parents want me to get married. However, I am very much focused on my career right now. I have given the last 7 years of my life to it. I intend to make it stronger and more stable.
