Four more people died at the COVID unit in Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH) in the past 24 hours till Saturday morning.
Dr Md Mohiuddin Khan Moon, the focal person of the Covid unit of MMCH,confirmed the matter this morning.
Among the dead, one was confirmed COVID positive for the virus and other three had its symptoms.
A total of 89 patients are now undergoing treatment at the Corona unit of MMCH while five of them at the ICU unit.
During the last 24 hours, 13 new patients were admitted to the COVID unit while 6 made recovery, he added.
A total of 152 samples were tested in the past 24 hours where four people found positive for the virus with the positivity rate of 2.63 per cent, sources in the civil surgeon office said.
