Four more people died at the COVID unit in Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) in the past 24 hours till Wednesday morning.
Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani, Director of the hospital, confirmed the matter this morning.
None of of them was confirmed Covid-19 positive but all had the virus symptoms. Of them, two were from Rajshahi, and one each from Chapainawabganj and Natore districts.
Some 42 patients are undergoing treatment at 192-bed COVID unit in the RMCH in the last 24.
During the last 24 hours, 15 new patients were admitted to the COVID unit while eight made recovery, the director added.
A total of 329 samples were tested in the past 24 hours where 15 persons found positive for the virus with the positivity rate of 4.95 per cent, sources in the civil surgeon office said.
