BSC earns net profit of Tk 72.20cr in last fiscal

Bangladesh Shipping Corporation, the lone state owned oceangoing vessels management authority, has earned net profit of Taka 72.20 crore in 2020-21 fiscal which was Taka 30.55 crore more than previous fiscal (2019-20).

This was disclosed at a press conference today at BSC Bhaban on the occasion of 44th Annual General Meeting of BSC to be held on Jan 27 in the port city, BSS reports.

Commodore Suman Mahmud Sabbir, Managing Director of BSC read out the written statement in the press conference.

The board meeting will be held on January 27 and approved the audit report for 2020-21 and appointment of Audit firm for current year.

This time it has recommended to pay 12 percent cash dividend from the net profit to the shareholders.
