Easy-bike driver found dead in Natore

Police recovered the body of an easy-bike driver from a sugarcane field of Lalpur upazila in Natore district on Sunday evening.

The deceased was identified as Khorshed Alam Milon, 35, of Mahishbhanga village of Baraigram upazila.

Milon went out with his battery-run auto-rickshaw as usual on Saturday afternoon and he remained missing since then.

Based on a complaint, police started investigation and recovered the body from a roadside sugarcane field in Ghatchilan area around 7 pm, said additional police super ( Baraigram circle) Sharif Al Raji.

There were several injury marks on Milon’s body.

Police primarily assumed that muggers might have killed him for snatching his auto-rickshaw.
