Non-stop bus strike in Rajshahi two days before BNP rally Transport owners and workers in eight districts of Rajshahi division have been observing an indefinite strike began on Thursday morning. No transports were was seen leaving or entering Rajshahi this morning. Only BRTC buses are moving. Shafkat Manjur Biplob, president of Rajshahi divisional Road Transport Owners-Workers' Unity Council, called the strike on November 26 to press home their 11-point demands, including ban of moving illegal vehicles on the highway.
