On the occasion of International Women's Day, SSC Batch-1996 Women's Wing Aparajita-96 organized a discussion on "Women's Progress in Bangladesh in Fifty-One Years of Independence" at Royal Bengal Restaurant, Mirpur on March 8. Zeenat Ara, former judge of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, was present as chief guest on the occasion. Former General Manager of Petro Bangla Ismat Mirya, Senior Journalist and Women's Own Feature Page Editor of The Daily Observer Farhana Naznin were also present.  'Aparajita Sammanna-2023' was awarded to 8 women of SSC batch-1996 for their contributions in their respective fields. |
