Gausia Committee of Bangladesh, Chattogram Metropolitan brought out a colourful procession in the city on Wednesday to welcome the holy month of Ramadan,

The procession started from the city's Jamiatul Falah Mosque square and after parading different roads ended at Chattogram Press Club.

Thousands of Muslim devotees holding colorful flags, festoons chanted slogans welcoming the holy month of Ramadan.

The procession was brought out under the chairmanship of Chattogram Metropolitan Gausia Committee President Tashkir Ahmed while Muhammad Anwar Hossain, Secretary General, Anjuman-e Rahmaniya Ahmadiyya Sunnia Trust, was the chief guest.

Muhammad Mahbubul Alam, organizing secretary of Anjuman Trust, was the main speaker and chairman of Gausia Committee Bangladesh, Peyar Mohammad, inaugurated the procession that was conducted by Gausia Committee Chattogram City General Secretary Muhammad Abdullah.

Anjuman Trust Finance Secretary Muhammad Enamul Haque Bachchu, Anjuman Trust Cabinet Member Lokman Hakeem Muhammad Ibrahim, Jamia Ahmadiyya Sunnia Alia Governing Body Chairman Professor Abul Mohsin Muhammad Iyahia Khan, Gausia Committee Senior Vice-Chairman Muhammad Anwarul Haque, Joint Secretary General Khan Mahbubul Haque, organizing Secretary Mahbub Elahi Sikder, Finance Secretary Kamruddin Sabur were present as special guests.

Muhammad Anwar Hossain, secretary general of Anjuman Trust, said during the month of Ramadan different countries in the world reduce the commodity prices which is opposite in our country. He urged the business community to sell products at a fair price and don’t make extra profit during the Ramadan.
