Three shops fined in Rajshahi

A mobile court in a drive fined three businessmen Tk 5, 000 for selling expired food products and running business without valid documents.

District Administration Rajshahi and BSTI Divisional Office, Rajshahi jointly conducted the drive in the city's Shaheb Bazar area on Wednesday.

During the drive, it fined Tk 5, 000 to the owners of Mamun Food Corner, Alif Traders, Novel Stores in that area for selling foods which were expired, not having price tags in packets and running business without registration certificates.
Executive Magistrate and Assistant Commissioner Ishtiaq Majnun Ishti led the drive where BSTI Divisional Office, Rajshahi Officer AFM Hasibul Hasan and Md Abul Qaim, Inspector (MET) were also present.
