Question paper leak: Ideal teacher suspended, sent to jail An Ideal School and College teacher has been suspended temporary on charge of leaking question paper of a public examination. Suspended Maksuda Akter is an assistant teacher of Social Science of Bangla medium (morning shift) of the school. A letter confirmed about the suspension on Tuesday. It was issued by Principal Mizanur Rahman. The order was issued for violating the job conditions and it will remain in force from Tuesday (September 14), the letter said.  A case has been filed with Mirpur Model Police Station under the Digital Security Act (DSA) against Maksuda Akter. CID members on September 9 detained Maksuda from her Siddheswari residence. Later on Tuesday, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Jashim sent her to jail in an order after hearing a petition filed by the investigation officer in favour of the investigation. The teacher was shown arrested in a case filed over the leakge of a public test exam in 2020, said the police station OC Alamgir Hossain. TF |
