Fire breaks out in old Dhaka's Lalbagh

A fire broke out at a plastic factory in old Dhaka's Lalbagh area on Monday afternoon.

The blaze originated in the factory at about 1.35pm.

Nine units of firefighters are trying to bring the blaze under control, said Fire Service and Civil Defence media wing inspector Anwarul Islam.

The actual reason behind fire could not be known and no causalities are reported.
