Opposition BNP started its road march from Jhenidah to Khulna on Tuesday morning, as part of their 15-day scheduled programme.
The party leaders and activists brought out the march from Jhenidah Central Bus Terminal after their standing committee member Mirza Abbas inaugurated the march programme at 9:30am.
Other senior leaders were also present.
Jhenidah district BNP president Adv MA Mojid organised the road march programme.
From the very morning, the leaders and workers of the BNP gathered at the bus terminal with motorcades and small processions. Not only Jhenidah, the leaders and activists from Kushtia, Meherpur and Chuadanga BNP joined the programme.
A brief rally will be held at the end of the march.
The party will take out road march from Kishoreganj to Mymensingh on October 1, in Faridpur division on October 3 and Cumillah to Chattogram on October 5.
