RAJSHAHI, Dec 30: The annual scouts camp programme of Scouts Group of Paramount School and College was held in the city.
The day-long programme took place on Thursday.
During the event, District Education Officer and Treasurer of Bangladesh Scouts Rajshahi Zone Moha Nasir Uddin was present as the chief guest.
Md Tariqul Islam, head teacher of Satellite Town School and secretary of Bangladesh Scouts Rajshahi Metropolitan Unit, Alok Chakroborthy, sub-director of Bangladesh Scouts Rajshahi Metropolitan Unit, Saiful Haque, principal of Agrani School and College and joint secretary of Bangladesh Scouts Rajshahi Metropolitan, and Jannatul Ferdous Putul, associate professor of Rajshahi Government Women College, were present there as special guests.
Lutfe Ara Rehman, principal of Paramount School and College, presided over the event.
In the second half of Scouts annual camp, she inaugurated an evening cultural programme by lightening the camp-fire with the other guests. The students of the school performed dances, songs and various activities.
During the programme, the trainers were Saleh Ahmed, leader trainer delegate of Rajshahi Scouts, and Md Shimul Hossain, scout leader of Rajshahi Open Scout Group and former Divisional Senior Rover Mate delegate of Rajshahi of Bangladesh Scouts.
