Workshop on problems, prospects of livestock sector held

A training programme was held on problems and prospects of livestock sector in the capital on Sunday at CIRDAP conference room in the city.

In view of this, the workshop was organized under the joint initiative of Livestock and Dairy Development Project, Directorate of Livestock, Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock and World Bank. 25 journalists who received the fellowship of selected print and electronic media were present in it.

Fisheries and Livestock Minister Abdur Rahman was present as the chief guest in the workshop. In addition, director general of the Department of Livestock Dr Emdadul Haque Talukder presided over the meeting. Livestock and Dairy Development Project (LDDP) Project Director Abdur Rahim and Poriprekhit Executive Director Syed Borhan Kabir were also present.
