AL submits 48 nominees' forms to EC for polls in reserved women seats

Awami League has submitted its 48 nominees' forms to the Election Commission (EC) for their election as members of parliament in reserved seats of women in the 12th Jatiya Sangsad.

A delegation of the party led by its general secretary Obaidul Quader submitted the forms to Returning Officer and EC's joint secretary Maniruzzaman Talukder at Agargaon's Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital on Sunday afternoon.
Talking to journalists, Obaidul Quader said out of 48 nominees, one person is from the 14-party alliance.

AL organising secretary and Jatiya Sangsad whip Abu Sayeed Al Mahmud Swapan, office secretary and Prime Minister's special assistant Barrister Biplab Barua and deputy office secretary Sayem Khan were present.
