Bailey Road fire: Legal notice to RAJUK for action

A legal notice has been sent to the Chairman of the Rajdhani Unnayan Kartipakkha (RAJUK) to take appropriate action after conducting an investigation into the incident of fire at Bailey Road in the capital that left 46 people dead.

Supreme Court lawyer M Abdullah Al Haroon Bhuiyan sent the letter to Rajuk Chairman requesting him to take action within 24 hours to form an inquiry committee. A copy of the letter has been sent to the Secretary of Ministry of Housing and Public Works, Secretary of Ministry of Forest and Environment, Director General of Directorate of Fire Service and Civil Defense, Secretary of Dhaka South City Corporation, Secretary of Dhaka North City Corporation.
