Rejoinder of BINA Director Dr Abul Kalam Azad

Bangladesh Institute of Nuclear Agriculture (BINA) Director (Admin and Support Services) Dr Md Abul Kalam Azad protested a report titled Allegations of recruitment trade brought against 2 top BINA officials published on page 12 in the Daily Observer on February 18 claiming that the report is false, fabricated and baseless.

In a rejoinder sent to the newspaper office on Saturday (March 2), Dr Abul Kalam Azad, the Chairman of the recruitment committee for appointing 47 officials in 13 categories, stated that he has not talked with anyone about the matter through whatsapp and no document can be shown or proved regarding the matter.

He claimed that a section of people have created the fake documents against him with ill-motive and published the report in the newspaper to destroy his image and defame him.

Dr Azad claimed that he has been serving as the director (admin and support service) since last three years and nine months.

 During his tenure, more than 100 employees of ninth to sixteenth grades were recruited with transparent and neutral process. "The process is known as BINA Model," he claimed.

In his rejoinder, Dr Azad demanded punishment for those involved in creating the fake documents and defaming him in the community by publishing the report.

Statement of the reporter
Regarding the rejoinder, our Mymensingh correspondent Sirajul Haque Sarker stated that he has the documents of the whatsapp conversation between Dr Abul Kalam Azad and his associates, where Dr Azad instructed his associates about their course of actions to be taken for committing the irregularities.

Its seen that Dr Azad discussed through whatsapp using his own number with his associates.
