Chattogram University (CU) signed a MoU with East China Normal University (ECNU) of China on Wednesday.
A delegation from ECNU paid a courtesy call with CU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Abu Taher along with Director of CU Institute of Marine Sciences Prof Dr Sheikh Aftab Uddin.
Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Prof Benu Kumar Dey, Dean of CU Marine Sciences and Fisheries Faculty Dr Md Shafiqul Islam, teaching staff of CU Institute of Marine Sciences, CU Registrar and related persons were present at the time.
The members of the East China Normal University delegation were GU Hongliang, Vice President of East China Normal University, ZHANG Wenming, Vice Dean, National Institutes of Educational Policy Research, HE Lijun, Associate Professor, State Key Laboratory of Estuarine and Coastal Research Ges CHENG Xiaohong, Program Officer, International Cooperation Exchange Division.
