A court in Dhaka has placed four people on three-day remand each in a case filed over keeping a girl confined in Mohammadpur fouse and gang-raping her for 25 days.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Jasim passed the order as investigation officer of the case and also the sub-inspector of Mohammadpur police station Farukul Islam, produced the four before the court and pleaded to place them on seven-day remand.

The accused are-- Sun, Himel, Roky and Salma Akhter alias Jhumur.
According to the case documents, a 23-year-old woman had been shackled at a flat in Nabinagar Housing in Mohammadpur for 25 days, and gang raped by the accused repeatedly.

They also filmed the crimes and threaten her to release footage. The victim was rescued by police on Saturday after she managed to get the attention of locals by screaming. 

The locals then called national emergency service number 999.
The victim filed the case with Mohammadpur Police Station on March 31.
